If you want it to Grow Cut it!

This is a contradicting statement to most. The last thing a person wants to hear after they have said they want to grow their hair out is, "we need to cut your hair!" Now, I admit the statement above is a bit misleading. What I am actually saying is in order to achieve and maintain healthy hair we must get regularly scheduled trims. Often times in an effort to grow out our hair it becomes a habit to avoid getting our ends trimmed. This is a very important part of the process in growing and getting our hair to a healthy state. Dead ends do split. they do not only stay at the end of the hair shaft. If neglected the damaged ends will get worse and begin to travel up the hair shaft, eventually causing the client to need a haircut rather than a trim. Let's give our hair a fighting chance by making sure our ends are trimmed when needed and never neglected. While there are a wide range of products on the market that will help to prevent split ends, the only way to fix the problem is to cut them off.
